Deborah Babcock's background includes experience in banking, marketing, and brokering in the commodity, securities, and insurance industries. She administers special projects for the Katie School of Insurance and Financial Services at Illinois State University including the Lloyd's of London Study Tour, Insurance Executive Forum, Katie School Golf Classic, Lloyd’s Market Association seminars, Katie School Scholarship Program, international internships and Katie School alumni events. She coordinates the recruitment of risk and insurance students for identified internship and career placement positions and hosts recruiters and industry speakers on campus.
Ms. Babcock received a B.S. from the University of Illinois and is a current board member of the Spencer Educational Foundation, a
past Board member of and Presidents Award recipient from the American
Risk and Insurance Association, a member of the Risk and Insurance
Management Society, Association of Professional Insurance Women,
Association of Lloyd's Brokers, Katie School Advisory Board of
Executives and the Secretary of the Mid-Illinois Chapter RIMS. |
