Biography:
Allen is currently a senior from Batavia, IL majoring in insurance and marketing (sales sequence). Allen joined Gamma the fall of his junior year and is looking forward to taking over the role of Director of Alumni Relations this year. Thanks to Gamma and the Katie School of Insurance, Allen was able to take part in two different internships this summer. Allen interned in Bermuda for three weeks, representing the Katie School and learning about many different areas of insurance in an incredible experience that was second to none. Upon return, Allen interned for seven weeks with the Lockton Companies, LLC at their corporate headquarters in Kansas City, MO in the construction division of their commercial insurance brokerage operations.
Besides his involvement in Gamma and the Katie School, Allen is heavily involved with the Professional Sales Institute at ISU. Additionally, Allen is a member and has held leadership positions in the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi. Outside of the College of Business, Allen is a senior leasing agent at a local student apartment management company, Young America Realty. Allen is more than happy to answer any questions about Gamma Iota Sigma, and hopes that many Illinois State students take advantages of the numerous opportunities provided.
