What are the Gamma Games?

Gamma Iota Sigma invites you to a day full of activities on Friday, April 16th on the Illinois State University campus! We will have our annual initiation ceremony at 10:30am in the Caterpillar Auditorium (COB 139).  We encourage all alumni and industry professionals to attend.  Following the initiation, we will have a lunch reception in the COUNTRY Insurance and Financial Services Atrium. 

Gamma Games will be held shortly after in the recently completed ISU Alumni Center!  We are looking for talented individual industry professionals or teams of two industry professionals to compete in games (Trivia, Limbo, and Rubberband Archery for example) and to represent their respective companies.  After the completion of Gamma Games, Gamma Iota Sigma will host a cocktail reception.

This event is beneficial for both students and the company representatives.  Gamma Games will provide excellent visibility for your company and a great chance to recruit!  And for students, it will provide networking opportunities with potential future employers.  We highly encourage industry individuals to bring business cards.

Event registration is $50 per industry participant and $15 per student participant.  The registration fee will support a variety of events for students throughout the year, including scholarships to attend conferences, speaker presentations, and company visits.  A t-shirt to be worn at the Games will be provided, and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.  Most importantly, the winning team will have industry-wide bragging rights!  Visit the 2009 Gamma Games photo album to witness the fun!

We strongly encourage you to dress casually for Gamma Games. However, please note that students will be in business professional attire at the Initiation Ceremony.
