The Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) hosts an annual conference for insurance industry professionals each spring. Scholarships for students to attend the conference are provided by the Katie School as well as industry companies.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to interact with insurance professionals from around the world as well as develop and strengthen networking and business skills in a social setting. During the week-long conference, students attend educational sessions dealing with a broad range of pertinent topics in the industry and learn about new products and services within the industry.
Preference is given to students who are active in Gamma Iota Sigma insurance fraternity, have strong academic skills, and are pursuing a career in insurance and risk management. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and must complete the RIMS Conference application form by the designated deadline.
